Barb Wire Review

Barb Wire came out in 1996 and was directed by the ever-erect David Hogan. We have used science (and possibly the box cover) to determine that this movie fits perfectly into the "Pam Anderson" genre.

During the time we had our polls open, 212 stumpy viewers just like you weighed in on Barb Wire. 134 of 'em thought it was great! 78 thought it was shit. Takes all kinds.

This is a Dave and Jim's B-Movie Review. This review was written some time between 1996 and 2001. Once you've sucked the marrow from this one, you can head back to the full list to pick another review for savoring. Do it again and again.

Dave's Review

Despite the presence of the rather pneumatic Pam Anderson [Lee] and a fairly good effects and cinematography budget, this movie really screwed up a lot. Some slick camera work here and there, but overall, the pathetic plot and dialog ruin it.

Dave broke it down like so: Technology: 4 Action: 7 Nudity: 11 Coolness: 9 Badguys: 6 Gore: 4 Shock: 5 Dialog: 7 Post-Nuke?: N Music: 7 Plot: 6 Length: Fine Overall: 6

Jim's Review

It was the standard post-war biker adventure except Pamela Anderson Lee played the "good guy".

Jim broke it down like so: Technology: 5 Action: 5 Nudity: 8 Coolness: 7 Badguys: 6 Gore: 2 Shock: 4 Dialog: 5 Post-Nuke?: N Music: 5 Plot: 5 Length: Short Overall: 6
