Spawn 2 (Animated) Review

Spawn 2 (Animated) came out in 1998 and was directed by the ever-knob-gobbling Thomas A. Nelson. We have used science (and possibly the box cover) to determine that this movie fits perfectly into the "Animated Horror" genre.

During the time we had our polls open, 199 repulsive viewers just like you weighed in on Spawn 2 (Animated). 110 of 'em thought it was great! 89 thought it was shit. Takes all kinds.

This is a Dave and Jim's B-Movie Review. This review was written some time between 1996 and 2001. Once you've sucked the marrow from this one, you can head back to the full list to pick another review for savoring. Do it again and again.

Jim's Review

This one was just not as cool as the first set, every thing was there, the characters, the violence, the atmosphere, but it wasn't the same. However as the story line progresses I got the feeling that it is all building up to something really big in the next set, so the lull in the second Spawn collection might just be because they are setting the series up for a large wave of evil.

Jim broke it down like so: Technology: 6 Action: 7 Nudity: 4 Coolness: 6 Badguys: 7 Gore: 7 Shock: 5 Dialog: 5 Post-Nuke?: N Music: 7 Plot: 6 Length: Short Overall: 6
