Red Blooded American Girl Review

Red Blooded American Girl came out in 1990 and was directed by the ever-delightful David Blyth. We have used science (and possibly the box cover) to determine that this movie fits perfectly into the "Vampires that suck ... blood." genre.

During the time we had our polls open, 282 multi-limbed viewers just like you weighed in on Red Blooded American Girl. 167 of 'em thought it was great! 115 thought it was shit. Takes all kinds.

This is a Dave and Jim's B-Movie Review. This review was written some time between 1996 and 2001. Once you've sucked the marrow from this one, you can head back to the full list to pick another review for savoring. Do it again and again.

Thea's Review

Jim and I watched this as part of a mini-DBMM in substitute for his sad lack of New Years' fun. This one was all his. Apparently he has been looking at it for years and always wanted to watch it, in that sick sort of masochistic way.

The words "An Exotic Thriller" lay right beneath the title on the cover. I expected some softcore porn, and lots of vampires. What we wound up watching was a load of pseudoscientific tripe that started and ended with brief nudity.
