I wrote an essay/presentation on SVG at the tail end of school in 1999. I was really excited about a text-based vector graphics format that could be manipulated from the browser DOM!

(As with everything, Microsoft screwed us out of having this nice thing for over a decade. But I never forgot about SVG.)

I’ve made some fun things with SVG. Here’s a couple:

Anything graphical in Hiss (still a work in progress!)

SVG Sourcecode Shapes (A Little Ruby Script)

My main SVG editor of choice is the FOSS application Inkscape. Inkscape rocks!
